Welcome to the website of Angel Silvestre kennel
About me:
I am a dog breeder. I spend a lifetime learning pedigrees, genetics, breed standards and learning from those in my breed and those outside it. I raise each litter as if I gave birth to them and spend an equal amount of time finding them loving forever homes. I only put animals on this planet that I think will be the healthiest (mentally and physically) and nicest examples of their breed. I support each family who chose one of my babies and let them know they are now a part of our extended family. I celebrate their wins in shows with my stock. I shed a tear when one dies. I am there if one needs to come back. I hold them when they arrive and leave this world. I share my knowledge and socialize my dogs so that they will be the advertisement for my dedication. I don't keep track of the money and time I put in to my love of them, it would not be a true measure of how I feel. The price I charge for my babies is never profit, but investment in the next generation. I am not ashamed of who I am... I work hard at being a good dog person and encouraging others to be the same. I am a breeder and I am proud of it. If we don't support each other - we are doomed as a fancy.

ABOUT ME and Angel Silvestre
My kennel was registered with FCI in 2007 and then with KMSH and I have Belgian breeder's license (HK)
Since i remember myself my familly has owned dogs. Our first collie rough came in the family 1995. He was from german bloodlines, but unfortunatelly not compleet pedigree. Anyway he was my best friend for almost 12 happy years! R.I.P. my beautiful Buck!
In meanwhile i already had my first Dogo Argentino dog. This dog has won many dog shows and started my passion to dogshow world. Together we won also many Junior handling competitions, besides all the other dogs I could use for this competitions.
Few years later i imported my first breeding female from France and the same time another male from Argentinian/Italian bloodlines. With this trio i have moved to Belgium (from Bulgaria) and a year after made the first litter on my kennel name with my female and the World Champion! From this litter i kept male, who won the attention of many breeders! I've bred several litters of dogo argentino, imported 3 females from Argentina and more from other countries.
I was paying a visit to every sold puppy out of my kennel in the country and this is what made me stop working with this breed. Finding owners with big heart for this breed was not easy. Very often they landed in wrong hands and later the dogs were blamed when things go wrong. For studying the breed i have visited different kennels and had many friends who were helping me to get to know the breed even better. I'm still following the breed even though I don't own it anymore..
After several years breeding and working with the breed Dogo Argentino, I've made a decision to stop with this wonderfull but difficult to put in "right hands" breed. 7 from the 8 dogos owned by me have been sold to other responsible breeders in Europe (Italy, Sweden, France, Belgium). I kept my first and last dogo argentino - Ch.Lexis Blanca Eulusia with me for the rest of his life, he reached 12 years!!!
The most of the dog material I had was given for dogs in need and I had a short pause.
Few years later, a new begin had came for Angel Silvestre. With the same passion for beautifull, healty, correct - following the standarts and high quality dogs my attention and love is directed to the breed - Collie. The most important at this stage of breeding for me are the health and type, but of course I do my best to choose breeding dogs with good character. I'm working a lot on the socialisation of the dogs and in mean while making full tests for important deseases speciffic for the breeds. Our dogs are participating on dog shows, being trained and of course regulary vet checked. They have a playground at home, big training field and yet I'm walking my dogs as wel.
Shortly before Christmas 2012 i got my collie rough Bucky (Ricks Machagony) from Poland. Bucky has learned me again how big was my passion to the breed and i started the "new" kennel. With few imports and nice results in the show ring, I'm proud owner and breeder of a JUNIOR WORLD CHAMPION and VICE WORLD WINNER and her son who won BEST PUPPY at CRUFTS besides all other titles of our dogs!
